Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the Word of God:

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

2nd Timothy 3: 16-17

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The Father is God (2 Corinthians 8:6), the Son is God (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1, 14; Hebrews 1:8-10), and the Holy Spirit is God (Acts 5:3-4).

We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.

(Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38)

We believe in the Genesis account of creation and that it is to be accepted literally, that man was created directly in God’s own image and not through evolution.

(Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7)

We believe that man sinned and, thereby, incurred physical death and spiritual death which is eternal separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature.

(Genesis 3:1-24; Roman 3:10)

We believe God has provided salvation through offering His Son on the cross of Calvary and allowing His BLOOD to be shed to atone for our sins.

(Romans 3:25; Hebrews 9:22)

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, as a sacrifice; in order to reconcile us to a right relationship with God.

(I Cor. 15:1-8; Matthew 1:18-25; Phil. 2:5-9)

We believe in the resurrection, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there for us.

(Acts 1: 11; Roman 8:9,11)

We believe in “that blessed hope,” the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

(Colossians 3:2-4; 1 John 2:15-17)

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and, thereby, become children of God.

(Galatians 3:26; 2 Corinthians 6:18; Romans 8:14; 1 John 3: 1-2)

Once saved we cannot be lost; we are eternally secure in Christ.

(John 3:16; Philippians 1:6; John 10:27-29; Romans 8:38-39)

This statement of faith is an overview of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired Word of God is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the appropriate conduct of all men. It is the foundation of all our belief.
